Here is a Cabbage Patch Garden™ after just a few weeks in the sun…

The sub-irrigation system means watering less often (great for people with limited time, cabin owners, etc!). The main container is made from cedar to ensure a long life. Within that are three smaller sub-irrigated containers. You can mix and match many combinations of vegetables (lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, etc.). Vegetables that grow vertically work great on an available trellis: beans, cucumbers, snap peas. You get the idea. We deliver and place your Cabbage Patch Garden™ for you. They can go virtually anywhere there is enough sunlight. Great for decks, patios, porches, and rooftops! The first few weeks you do nothing except watch it grow. After that, simply replenish the water reservoir as needed.
Below is a cross-section of one of the sub-irrigated bins in a Cabbage Patch Garden™. The chamber is filled with water which slowly wicks up through the soil, keeping it moist for up to several weeks.
.
Each Cabbage Patch Garden™ cedar container is approximately 2 x 4 feet and holds three sub-irrigated bins. The overall height is about one foot, but custom stands are available in any height. Below is a bird’s eye view diagram:
